Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine which recognizes the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Our body work as a whole unit and osteopaths focus on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit. Some of the techniques used are muscle energy, articulation, stretching and massage for general treatments of the soft tissues.

Some of the conditions that Osteopathy is able to help are:
  »  Headache and migraine
  »  Body pain
  »  Scoliosis
  »  Sport injuries
  »  Asthma
»  Arthritis, joint swelling and stiffness
»  Pregnant ladies (To prepare labor by restoring balance and improving quality of movement of whole pelvic girdle, promoting hormonal and neurological feedback that encourages the stimulation of the uterine contraction.)
»  New mothers (To ease discomfort in postural strain, pain in mid to upper spine, to promote better blood flow and lymphatic drainage to the breast area.)
»  Babies with colic and constipation, constant crying, feeding difficulties, delayed movement
